Xbox assault on the Land of the Rising Sun still very much alive. Popular western-developed games and heavy focus on online gaming are two cornerstones of Microsoft's future plans for boosting the performance of Xbox in Japan, according to VP Peter Moore. Moore, who was until recently the boss of Sega of America, is now responsible - among other things - for the activities of the Home & Entertainment Division of Microsoft in Asia-Pacific, which puts him in charge of building up the Xbox in the difficult territory of Japan.
